About Jim
Jim is a salon owner, master stylist, educator, and founder of SHEARPOLICE, with decades of experience in professional haircutting, color, and salon education.
After more than 20 years working with RUSK and BaBylissPRO/Conair, he continues to bring an education-driven approach to the chair, with a strong focus on precision cutting, advanced texturizing, dimensional color, and understanding how technique and tools work together.
Jim’s goal with every guest is to create a technically strong, wearable result that fits the individual—while delivering the same level of care and attention he has spent his career teaching to other professionals.
